About me The story of my brick ovens

About 14 years ago I came up with the idea of building my own brick oven. After seeing it in my garden, friends and family members were getting more and more excited about having their own. So it happened.

I've built more than 300 ovens since then. I've developed various designs suiting different people with different preferences. Brick ovens became a huge part of my life, It's not only my profession but also my hobby and my passion.

Building them is not everything. I also enjoy cooking in them. I believe that nothing compares to food that's been prepared in a brick oven. The taste is unique and delicious.

How long have you been building these brick ovens?
- I started about 10 years ago and I have built more than 160 brick ovens since then.

How long does it take to build a brick oven?
- It depends on the size and environment, but maximum 3-4 business days.
- Your oven can be inhouse or outside; it can be fixed or mobile (with beautifully designed wrought iron weels)

What kind of wood to use in the ovens?
- It does not matter what kind of wood you burn as long as it is dry.

How long does it take to heat up?
- It takes about 1.5 hours.

What can I cook in it?
- Your brick oven is capable of almost endless variety of cooking styles, including roasting, baking and grilling. You can make pizza, bread, meat, cookies or anything you like. Even jam.

How do I use it?
- ‎I offer free workshops to teach you the basics.

Since you build ovens?
- I've been doing it for 14 years. So far, about 300 pieces have been made.

Does it have any harmful effects?
- There are no adverse health effects of wood burning.

Where do you build ovens?
- Anywhere in the country, even outside Hungary. I build the mobile ovens at home and transport them anywhere you wish.
